| Question: |
Is Host4NET a standalone application? |
| Answer: |
No!
Host4net depends directly of Webmin, which is
the framework, and this is just a module. |
| |
|
| Question: |
Can
I setup Host4NET to work with Virtualmin because
I would be happy to use it for creating new
account and email accounts? |
| Answer: |
Unfortunately,
Virtualmin took another direction and seems
that it has nothing to do in its way with our
module. Our module has different concepts and
it is developed to meet ISP needs of user management,
billing and invoicing. |

| Question: |
Is it possible to control several hosting servers,
to manage users remotely and other related resources? |
| Answer: |
Yes!
This is the way we have developed Host4NET.
Setup a central server from where you can control
all users and attached services. To control
other services you should use Webmin Cluster
support. |

|
| Question: |
Looking over the features, I found that Host4NET
support only Mysql.
Can you migrate on other Data Basen like Oracle,
Postgres or Sybase? |
| Answer: |
For the first milestone we have developed database
spport only for MySQL because is the most common
DB used on Linux and the easiest to program.
Host4NET is designed in such a way in which
it allows different implementations of the database
layer without affecting the rest of the code.
This ensures an easy integration with other
relational databases. |

| Question: |
When
you announced Host4NET project on the Webmin
Community Mailing List, there was a Ticketing
Support section (submodule) listed that currently
is not part of workflow. Did you removed that
part from the current project or will it be
part of the future versions? |
| Answer: |
We
did not remove that part from our project. It
is just a component that has not received enough
feedback from contributors. As long as a section
is not supported financially by community that
section will become commercial or will be rescheduled
until it will be required by people. |
